Knäpp Bottle Opener

A bottle opener built to last for generations. We developed it together with master carpenter Ola Särén here in Onsala, Sweden, where it is produced in very small batches.

The body is solid wood, in walnut, ash or oak, finished with Odie’s Oil. Knäpp sits comfortably in the hand, and the opener itself is cut from solid brass and filed by hand. Over time, the brass develops a beautiful patina. One snap, and the cap sticks to the magnet in the body instead of ending up on the floor.

A leather strap holds a leather patch carrying the Crud × Ola Särén logo. Both are vegetable-tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri, and like the brass, they darken and soften with use. Every Knäpp is delivered in a wax paper bag.
